July - 2015 Work Fair creates positive vibes

An inspiring mix of personal stories and facts about training opportunities opened young minds at the Dream Learn Work Work Fair in June with social partner Karanba.

Fabio Henrique, training manager at Rolls Royce, one of DLWs corporate partners, was one of the employees who shared their career stories and gave advice about life at work. ''I would like to thank you for the opportunity to share our work life experience with the students today,'' Fabio said after the Work Fair, adding how he was impressed with the positive energy at the fair.

Many participants from Karanba expressed interest in participating in Dream Learn Work's program and achieve a professional qualification. Tommy Nilsen, the founder of Karanba closed the Work Fair underlining the importance of education, even as the dream of a football career lives on.

SENAI is Dream Learn Works main educational partner, and presented a wide range of training and career opportunities. In focus at this fair was SENAI Laranjeiras, an audio visual centre of competence with professional courses in photography, film and creative subjects. SENAI Laranjeiras also offers administration. Later this year, the school will open their doors to interested DLW students to allow for a closer look - and perhaps a choice of a new career.
